Herstory in the making. This long standing, successful tradition has endured and continues... L.A.'s weekly pick & L.A. Jazz scene's best accompanists. A select, In-House Live Jazz Trio, with award winning World toured renowned musicians. Events are multi-genred, not just all about Jazz; live entertainment, diverse, a Patron of Arts Renaissance, community supported, amateur to pro, vocalists/instrumentalists & always very special surprise guests & VIPs.
This "Companion Event" with a SHOWCASE: A different 1st SET weekly; ACOUSTIC, CABARET, Artist/Performer Presentation, (PRO-) VOCALISTS / INSTRUMENTALISTS, SINGERS / SONGWRITERS, BENEFITS / CELEBRATIONS / FUNDRAISERS or TRIBUTES. (Refer to specific listing for details & updates.)
Mission Statement: "D'z" events prioritize live music 1st and foremost. Participation is considered a privilege. Artists, patrons of the arts and community-supporters of live music afford the opportunity to perform and audience. NOT a recording session/studio, Karaoke and/or a competition/contest. We reserve the right to refuse service.
Mindful dinner show etiquette & courtesy required during performances. Space permitting, valued venue diners & bar only patrons are requested to support event TIPS. (20% minimum entertainment gratuity suggested)
Absolutely NO audio/video recording &/or transmission without prior written authorization(s) in advance. No flash photography during performance. All photography may be dis-allowed during performance.
Absolutely NO outside event promotion/solicitation without prior approval.
