DFQ~Dale Fielder Quartet return to their new home base at Hotel Normandie for their 2nd performance. Led by acclaimed baritone saxophonist and composer Dale Fielder, the 22-year-old ensemble performs original jazz compositions as well as rare jazz classics and well-known jazz standards. They have also recorded original extended commissioned jazz suites. Their latest recording is their 16th: "Resilience!" a 2-disc CD celebrating the DFQ's 20 Anniversary. The band features jazz legend Jane Getz on piano with Bill Markus-bass, Thomas White-drums and Rita Edmond-vocals.
