SARAH SPIEGEL
Sarah’s arrival in Los Angeles from South Florida has been met with non-stop work and her future success seems limitless.
Sarah recently finished her world tour singing lead with Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses. Her two recent appearances on Access Hollywood and debut CD “Return of the Wildest!” (Universal Music) were met with much acclaim. She is currently touring solo (and occasionally with her band Sarah Spiegel & The Nice Guys) performing hits from the Great American Songbook and her own original material.
Sarah’s impressive credentials feature guest star roles on national television such as Navy NCIS, Samantha Who?, King of Queens, Boston Public, Living With Fran, and Providence. She has always been a paragon of versatility with an equally impressive stage and theatrical resume. Her melodic voice and effortless acting abilities have thrilled audiences in such diverse performances as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Dancing at Lughnasa, The Caucasian Chalk Circle and The Threepenny Opera.
Contrary to the average grammar school student of her day, Sarah acquired a love for the “Big Band” sound and has been charming audiences ever since. She earned a highly renowned reputation in Southern Florida where she is known as “The Regal Miss Sarah Spiegel”, or more succinctly – “The Regal Miz”. Her 1930’s and ‘40’s song stylings can be heard daily on the popular radio station, WJTW 100.3 FM in Palm Beach County, right alongside Sinatra, Ella and Barbra.
Inspired by her love of the big band standards, Sarah has recently written a heartfelt one woman show, which will soon debut on a Los Angeles stage. It will feature established and original songs. The show, “Through the Perilous Fight (We Never Stopped Singing)” is a tribute to the beautiful and heroic music of World War II.
Displaying her versatility, Sarah was recruited by the General Motors Corporation to be a national spokesperson for their 100th anniversary celebration. She interviewed and shared the stage with many luminaries from the business and entertainment field. Much of Sarah’s GM work can be seen on television and on the internet.
Jesse Saunders’ BrokenRecords label has officially released Sarah’s version of “I DREAMED A DREAM” (from Les Miserables) and is available for purchase through iTunes.com
