M.D. for Mel Torme, & member of Terry Gibbs-Buddy DeFranco quintet. Performances incl. Eddie Harris, James Moody, & Clark Terry. Pianist Hod O’Brien, is a jazz legend” hailed by critics, and revered by legendary peers. As part of the New York “loft scene” Hod jammed with Pepper Adams, Oscar Pettiford and Stan Getz. He’s recorded with Art Farmer, Donald Byrd and Idrees Sulieman, and played w/ J.R. Monterose, Elvin Jones & Wilbur Ware.
