On July 2, 1944 Norman Granz staged his first Jazz at the Philharmonic concert in downtown Los Angeles.
That concert forever changed the way jazz was presented and was a major step forward in breaking down racial barriers.
Now, exactly 70 years to the day we return to downtown Los Angeles to celebrate this important jazz milestone bringing together an exciting star studded cast of jazz greats to capture the spirit of the original JATP extravaganzas.
