Sam First is a cocktail bar, a few minutes walk from the LAX terminals.

Featuring serious drinks, local beers and fine wines, spectacular first class lounge-of-your-dreams styling, and top shelf modern and straight-ahead jazz on the weekends, Sam First is a legend-in-the-making refuge for all. Sam First has a beautiful 7 foot grand piano in what is naturally, a beautiful sounding and intimate room. This environment has attracted some of the best musicians in the world including Larry Goldings, Gerald Clayton, Gilad Hekselman, Tom Harrell, Alan Pasqua, Bob Sheppard, Peter Erskine, Jane Monheit, Dick Oatts, Yotam Silberstein, and John Beasley.

Directions: Sam First is about a 7-10 minute walk from the terminals at LAX which makes it the perfect stop before or after a flight! We are located on the East side of the building at 6171 W Century Blvd right in front of the Marriott Courtyard and West of Hilton Homewood Suites. PARKING: For easy access, metered parking is available on Vicksburg Ave and 98th Street as are several nearby parking lots (Quikpark on Vicksburg Ave & Joe’s AutoParks on W Century Blvd). There are eight parking spots in the rear of our building that are marked Sam First and that are available for free parking at the bar first come first serve. On any Jazz Night, Joe’s Auto Park, 6151 W. Century Blvd, will give a reduced rate of $2 an hour for up to four hours when you present your Sam First receipt. We support a designated driver program and any designated driver enjoying their time at Sam First will be entitled to complimentary soft drinks.
