We are excited to present the return of The Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra at Zebulon! Founded in the early 60’s by one of the leading spiritual (J)azz artists of Los Angeles, Horace Tapscott, The Ark has been performing for and in the Los Angeles community with countless stellar musicians since its inception. This ensemble is truly a fantastic representation of Spiritual (J)azz from Los Angeles and their live performances are not to be missed! Several of the original members still perform along with some younger players who hold immaculate talent. Some notable musicians include: Kamasi Washington, Azar Lawrence, Adele Sebastian, Dadisi Komolafe, Nate Morgan, John Carter and many more! This show will feature a full line up of 15 musicians plus the vocal choir of the Ark known as “Voices of U.G.M.A.A.” arranged by Sonia “MAIA” Harper....
